OFA Award BCCA CHIC Champion of Health 2010
On behalf of the judges I would like to announce the winner of this award.  We had some wonderful entries and we were really pleased as this was the first year we have offered the title.  Competition was tough and some really talented dogs were nominated.  One of the requirements for the award though is that the dog passes on its traits of good health, conformation and talent to future generations, and many of the dogs were too young for this.  It does bode very well for the future of the award with so many talented dogs who will, I am sure, pass on their talents to their healthy offspring.

From the nine nominees the judges selected the three dogs that they felt best represented our breed and the aims of CHIC in offering the title.  The information on these dogs was then forwarded to CHIC, who selected the winning dog to receive the engraved silver medallion and parchment certificate, which will be presented at the BCCA awards banquet.
