Call for BCCA Officer and Director Nominations
The Nominating Committee is calling for nominations from people who are interested in serving as an officer or director for the Bearded Collie Club of America. The term for an officer is one year, and the term for a director is two years, beginning July 1, 2012. Please submit names to one of the following Nominating Committee members NO LATER THAN February 20, 2012.

All submissions will receive consideration by the committee. Chosen nominees for the official slate will appear in the March issue of Bagpipes.
2012 Member of the Year Nominations
Standing Rule 04/96-03 established a BCCA Member of the Year Award. The award recognizes on an annual calendar year basis that BCCA member or group of members who, as a result of his, her, or their activity, has made the most significant contribution to the advancement of the Bearded Collie or the Bearded Collie Club of America. The Member of the Year Award will be publicly announced and presented at the National Awards Banquet in October, 2012.
Nominations for the award will be accepted from any member in good standing with the BCCA. Nominations must be received by the Recording Secretary on or before March 20, 2012. Each nomination should be accompanied by a 250 word (maximum) statement as justification for making the nomination. Seated Officers and Board members are not eligible for the award. The entire Board of Directors, by majority vote, will select the Member of the Year.
